Jakarta, November 7, 2023 - Hyundai Motor Company, the official automotive partner of the FIFA U-17 World Cup Indonesia 2023™, today announced the handover of 148 fleet vehicles to FIFA and the Local Organizing Committee (LOC). The vehicles, which include the CRETA, STARGAZER, PALISADE, and IONIQ 5 and IONIQ 6 electric vehicles (EVs), will be used to transport players, officials, and guests during the tournament.

The handover ceremony was held at the Jakarta International Stadium and was attended by representatives from FIFA, the LOC, and Hyundai Motor Indonesia (HMID).

In his speech at the ceremony, HMID President Director Seung Jun Jang said, "We are honored to be the official automotive partner of the FIFA U-17 World Cup Indonesia 2023™. This is a prestigious event that will showcase the best young football talent in the world. We are confident that our vehicles will help to ensure the smooth and efficient transportation of players, officials, and guests during the tournament."

FIFA President Gianni Infantino also spoke at the ceremony, saying, "We are grateful to Hyundai Motor for its support of the FIFA U-17 World Cup Indonesia 2023™. The FIFA U-17 World Cup Indonesia 2023 will be held from October 20 to November 18, 2023. It will be the first time that Indonesia has hosted the tournament.
